2 Monie Love (1987) Is best known for being a British rapper and radio personality for urban adult contemporary station KISS 104.1 WALR-FM. Her debut album "Down To Earth" reached number 26 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.


3 Lady Of Rage (1988) is best known for her hit single "Afro Puffs" and for collaborating with artists like Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, and others. She is also known as one of the most skillful female MCs.


4 Yo-Yo (1989) is best known for her debut album "Make Way For The Motherlode." and for working with rap artist, Ice Cube. in 2013 she appeared on BET's reality series "Hip Hop Sisters."


5 Rah Digga (1993) is best known for being a member of the Flipmode Squad, a hip hop group led by Busta Rhymes and for starring in 2001 horror film, "Thirteen Ghosts." Her debut album "Dirty Harriet" reached top 20 on the Billboard 200.


6 Foxy Brown (1994) is best known for her debut album "Lil Na Na" which went platinum and for being part of hip hop group, The Firm. Her second album "Chyna Doll" debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 making her the second female rapper to top the charts.


7 Gangsta Boo (1995 - 2023) is best known for being a member of Three 6 Mafia and for collaborating with artists like Yelawolf, Eminem, Run The Jewels, Latto, and more. Her first solo album "Enquiring Minds" reached number 15 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.


8 Eve (1996) is best known for her debut album "Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady" which reached number one on the Billboard 200, making her the third female rapper to top the charts and from 2017 to 2020 she was a co-host on the daytime talk show, The Talk.


9 Trina (1998) is best known for being the most consistent female rapper of all time and for appearing on Trick Daddy's single "Naan Nigga." Her debut album "Da Baddest Bitch" was certified gold by RIAA.


10 Remy Ma (1999) is best known for her debut album "There's Something About Remy: Based On A True Story" and for being one of only four multiple winners of the BET Award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. In 2015 she starred in VH1's reality series, Love & Hip Hop: New York.
